Our wine tours will take you to another world, just outside Barcelona, where the art of wine making has been common use in the past 2000 years.

Few people know that Cava, the spanish alternative for Champaign, is produced in an area that is located only 50 kilometers (or 30 miles) outside Barcelona. Apart from Cava the wine makers tend to produce more and more qualitative still white and red wines and an increasing level of splendid Rose (or should we say Rosado) wines.

Our personal tours are aimed for groups of 8 persons or less. On request we offer tailor made tours for groups of 9 persons or more.

• Cava tour. From Barcelona we drive to the Penedes where we pay a visit to a number of bodega's who each have their own specific characteristics. We go to a small bodega where Cava is made with a personal note, in small quantities. We also visit a bodega where exclusively biological wine is made, to prove that this results in high-quality Cava and we visit a bodega where true art nouveau architecture, high quality and large-scale production git together. During the trip you will enjoy magnificent views on the different wine fields and on the surrealistic mountain Montserrat.
• Cava Workshop. During this Cava workshop you don't only taste Cava, but you also will be involved in the preparation of the vines and you will bottle your own Cava.
• Wines of Barcelona. For those who have little time, but who want experience more of the Spanish wine culture, we have put together a trip through the smallest wine area of Spain at only 10 miles of Barcelona: Alella. An excellent alternative for those who want to spend some time outside the city.
• Wines of Penedes. From Barcelona we drive to the Penedes where we pay a visit to a number of bodega's who each have their own specific characteristics and their excellent wines. During the trip you will enjoy magnificent views on the different wine fields and on the surrealistic mountain Montserrat. We will have lunch in a very nice restaurant in the region.
• Wine tour a la carte. In Catalonia there are various wine areas, or "denominación de origen", that have gained enormous international prestige in the past 10 years. Based on your personal preferences we will arrange a tour. We will make sure that you will visit the most characteristic and interesting vineyards and bodegas of the area of your choice, through a itinerary that shows all the beauty of the Catalonian landscape. A genuine unique and personal experience!
