Penedes, the cradle of Cava.

From Barcelona we drive to the Penedes where we pay a visit to a number of bodega's who each have their own specific characteristics. We go to a small bodega where Cava is made with a personal note, in small quantities.

We also visit a bodega where exclusively biological wine is made, to prove that this results in high-quality Cava and we visit a bodega where true art nouveau architecture, high quality and large-scale production git together. During the trip you will enjoy magnificent views on the different wine fields and on the surrealistic mountain Montserrat.

Duration

The tour will take one day, approx. 9 hours. Your guide will pick you up at 9:30 am at your hotel or apartment in Barcelona.
